Iron Gorget Set: The Medieval Standing Collar Gorget is modeled after the original protective neck protection which shifted from something worn under the armor to something worn over the armor. The Georgette was also a symbol of rank and status. This neck armor features 18 gauge steel construction with a shiny metal finish. It is comprised of two curved plates held together by leather straps and has collar attachments riveted in place. The dark metal finish also protects against rust and is very durable.
